ok guys i decided tonight to see what the max my chip would clock too. so here is what i did. left cpu multi on 10x and took the htt down to 3x and maxed the voltage on my board to 1.55 volts. so first i tried 270x10. super pi 32m stable. went to 280x10. booted to windows faster than ever, i mean it was blazing fast. but it wasnt stable on even super pi 256k. damn i guess i found the max. probably gonna be like 276 or 277 x 10. dunno. but damn that thing was flying at 280 though. when i ran super pi on 256k it was almost done but the computer rebooted. you guys think thats the max????

if the rams in your sig used, then I am 100% sure it is your rams holding you.
have you tried 1/2 divider?

That means you were running a 1/2 divider which means your memory was at 135 and 140 respectively so they were actually being ran below spec. My LBBLE 0521 3200+ does 2.8ghz super pi stable but not prime stable. I run it all day at 2.7ghz

Yea, that ram should easily be able to do what he's got it running at. It's pc2700...so 333 MHz ram.

And he's only running it at 280/2= 140 or 280 DDR...

If 333 MHz ram can't do 280 MHz then I'm a millionaire.

The chip is probably maxed out at that voltage. If you modded your board to give the chip 1.6v you probably could do 2.8GHz stable.
