I am at a loss. I have a AMD 700 CPU, A PCChips M807 mobo with a FSB up to 266mhz. I already did the pencil trick on the CPU. I cannot find anywhere in the BIOS where to change the multiplier or the FSB. The only thing I was able to change in the BIOS is the CPU Host/PCI Clock/Spread Spec it was default of 100/33/off. I changed it to 112/37mhz/off which gave me a cpu speed of 784. This was the the highest it would let me go. I am not sure if this was the FSB or not? And where can I change the Voltage as it is currently at 1.51. Any help or ideas would be great.

Yep, what you changed was the FSB speed, but don't expect to go much higher than 112 with the KT133 chipset.

Only a FEW motherboards have multiplier adjustments: Asus A7V, Abit KT7, MSI K7TPRO2 and one by Epox that I don't know it;s name.

Thanks, for the info. I took another look at the chip. I discovered that I do not need to do the pencil trick as the chip came unlocked. I can change the voltage using the golden bridge. PCChips and several other websites have stated that you can change the multipler, but do not tell you how to do it. Apparently it can only be done when the chip is first put into the board. You are given the option of auto-detect or manual. I choose auto-detect at the time. How can I reset the board? Clearing the CMOS does not do this. Do I need to flash the BIOS?

The Epox EP-8KTA+,EP-8KTA2,and EP-8KTA3.The+ model uses jumpers for all but FSB,I believe the others use bios.
