Just wanted to know if anyone has had any success or problems running AMD'S at 133fsb. Specifically running a1gh tbird at 10*133?
Thanks for the input

I hope so too . . . . . But I fear that this is just wishfull thinking. I'd settle for 2V though. Maybe we will see a board with a +10% Vcore jumper. Then when you connect the L7 bridges to equal 1.85V you will get 2.035V. I can honestly see that happening . . . . . .AZZKICKER(SeniorMember) (Dec 22, 2000 02:02 a.m.):hope the next boards will go to at least 2.1 volts for the core
Check this out. http://www.anandtech.com/showdoc.html?i=1345&p=4 I have had to do this with some OCed Durons on the Gygabyte GA-7ZX that I've done for other people. In these cases I have also had to "hack" other bridges to manipulate the multiplier without multiplier controll. People are dishing out extra money for multiplier manipulation that isn't really needed, It does however make changing the multiplier easier.AZZKICKER(SeniorMember) (Dec 24, 2000 04:23 p.m.):
how do i set the core voltage with the L7's with my ASUS a7v
You don't as of now. My previous statement was theorietical. I was saying that if a board had a jumper that increased the Vcore by 10% , It would be possable to make the board think the default Vcore was 1.85. That would give a Vcore just over 2.0V . That is if a board had an OC feature like that. I'm hoping that a new board will surface with this feature . . . . . . .AZZKICKER(SeniorMember) (Dec 24, 2000 08:16 p.m.):
i ment how to get more than 1.85 volts by L7s
Not with your current board, no. But if a new board came out, that had a jumper for increasing the Vcore by 10% over what the CPU identifies it's voltage as, yes. I've heard of a few cases of it helping to post at higher speeds by doing this . . . . .AZZKICKER(SeniorMember) (Dec 25, 2000 12:45 a.m.):
so if i connect all L7's then ill have mopre voltage ?
