Yes, 800. Need to see a pic of CPU-z tab "CPU" to take a look at the HT Link speed. Have you stress tested these new settings?

The fact that you have a 32-bit OS will only affect the amount of memory you can access. 32-bit OSes can only access a maximum of 4 gb of ram in theory and in reality can only use about 3 gb because of OS overhead, which means the OS sets aside some the ram for internal purposes so that its not available to run programs.

I should add to this, that this includes ALL memory hooked to the motherboard, including graphics card memory.
so if your using say... a GTX 285 with 1g ram on it, then you need to take that into account when adding up all memory.
so in theory, a good combination would be something like:
1g vid card @ 1g vRam + 2x2g and 2x512, of the same brand/type/spd and if your very lucky, batch.
this should allow dual channel mode across your slotted memory, if you put the 2x1g sticks in the A1/B1 slot and the 2x512 in the A2/B2 slots. (or whatever your motherboard designates for dual channel mode)
that said, it doesnt always work like that :-/

(edit, just realized I should update my sig...)
