I know have to unlock the CPU, but the EP-8KTA board has no clock-multiplier for overclocking!
Is there a bios update fix!??
Or is it possible to multiply with the pencil thing!!
---------------
I have recently learnt how to multiply the clock speed on the CPU it self, through tom`s hardware guide, link: http://www6.tomshardware.com/cpu/00q2/000623/amd-02.html
Dos any one have any experience on oc the amd cpu with the L6 bridge!

The only speed adjustment on that board is the FSB in BIOS.Epox started putting adjustable multipliers on the EP-KTA+ and later models.

There MAY be a BIOS update, but you'd have to check with Epox on that.....

You're headed in the right direction, but will hit a brick wall. I tried overclocking my Athlon 600 on an EP-8KTA yesterday. Unlocked the chip with the pencil trick, bought a copper Hedgehog and extra case fan for cooling and could not find the multiplier in the BIOS. I e-mailed tech support at Epox and they said (in broken English) that our motherboard does not support overclocking. You can change the bus speed and voltage, but it will get you very little. It looks like you and I bought the wrong motherboard.
