hi all..i wanted to show my friend a legit artical about why the amd xps(mps) and there processors yet to be released run faster than p4's mhz for mhz..i explained it but a legit artical would be great..thanks

There is plenty of info like this on AMD's site. Explains the differences in the processors (like how many units of work are done in a clock cycle for each).

As far as actual reviews and articles I can't think of anything recent. Its like knowing the sky is blue so people are not writing about that anymore.

its not so much mhz to mhz, more as for every 3 mhz intel has, amd can do the same amount of work with 1 mhz. thats inaccurate im sure, but just for the use of a example i used 3:1.

i use the highway method. i say intel is like a 4 lane highway that the cars travel at 2400 miles an hour, but amd is like a 6 lane highway where the cards travel at 1930 miles an hour. so intel may have a speed advantige over amd, but amd in the long run can process more data at single time then intel. they both have thier trade offs but, the 6 lane highway is 90% of the time better for traffic, then a 4 lane.

well the artical iwas looking for sepcificly said why there faster in a description..the amd link is down maybe it was on the amd website...
