I bought a Duron 700 processor overclocked to 1000 MHZ. The temperature is 28 degrees celcius on the cpu at idle and 50 degrees at maximum load. Are these temps normal or do I need more cooling?
I have a Monster Cooler 2 Heat sink and fan ,and 2 extra generic fans inside the case, but the case temp is 37 degrees.

Your temps sound fine. The only thing I would worry about is the difference between idle and max load. That is a 22 degree difference. Why is it so much? As I'm sure you have heard AMD's run hot. There are no problems with you temps.

Hope this helps.

I guess I never could understand how cpu temps can vary so much from idle to full load. Also, your case temps are real high, like 96F. The room that your pc is in must be real warm.
