it is a workstation video card, it is not for games

I guess they are going to ditch the FireGL name in favor for this new one in the new upcomming cards

No its not a video card its one of those new fangled calculating cards. Darn kids and their double precision floating point units- back in my day all we had was clogs and wheels tht we strung together to do odd number addition on a base 13.5 system.

damn. I did some more reading and it costs like $2000 and does 500 GFLOPs single precision performance. Where a Core 2 Duo at 4.4 ish does around 30 GFLOPS.
