Hello, Brand new to the Forums. Recently my hard drive failed on me so I decided to upgrade a few things. Got a new motherboard, CPU and ram as well as the hard drive. I'm looking to overclock for the first time ever and would like some advice. I know very little about overclocking as it stands right now and will have to research how to do it. I've listed my current setup below. I'm not looking to have any fancy cooling system setup. I plan on just using the Cooler listed below with the Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste. Could someone explain to me what it is I might have to do to overclock my computer? Lead me to some good information based on my CPU. What would be a reasonable overclock for the cooling I will be providing? As I said I'm new to this, Thanks for any help you can provide me. :)

I wouldn't expect to much of an overclock with that set-up. As Johan mentioned the cooler is sub-par and the motherboard is what I would consider a budget board. That doesn't mean you can't do it, just that you'll likely run into heat issues relatively quickly.
