amd mobo`s and kt-133 chips

i installed the aopen mk-33 mobo
loaded win98
but the bios keeps changing the settings?
but then i remembered some write-ups about the
kt-133 chipsets,cannot remember exactly but
i think there was some kind of defects with them.
anybody out there remember this!

You did not say what was changing, but if you do not have your L1 bridges closed and you try to use a different multiplier than what your CPU defaults to, the bios will change it back to the default.
