AMD overclocking with MS-5169

I've got K6-2 500 with this mb, and i've tried to 'clock it to 550, but my BIOS wonät show any speeds over500, only 500 all the time. Is it even possible to clock my cpu over 500mhz with this mb? User's manual doesn't even say i can clock 2 500, only 450.
And what is MicroStar's official homepage? can i get a new bios flash there?

all you need to do is update your bios so that it will recognize the higher multiplier. there are several updated bios files for this board at the microstar web site (www.msi.com.tw)

after the update, just set the multiplier to 5.5x(100)and away you go. and remember, the 2x multiplier was remapped to 6x on the newer k6-2s, so to try for 600, set the multiplier to 2x(100).
