the one in your new sig is better. the q6600 is a quad core and quite overclockable. stick with it. unless you go i5 or i7

OMG I could make a good living if I went to Fry's every week.

It's over an hour away for me but it's so worth it.

picked up my combo tonight. Great little combo. I had my old 940 BE PII retail heatsink laying around because the 550BE retail sink is a joke. Gonna try and unlock the 2 extra cores. If it does this was a heck of a deal. Even w/o the unlock still a solid deal.

Woot Unlocked both extra Cores. God Bless AMD! =)

I'm so out of the loop. How do those compare to my current in sig?

550BE if it unlocks is probably better but NOT worth spending money upgrading.

Of course for that price, you would actually MAKE money upgrading but thats just me :)

Vengeance: Its a B&M deal you can check stepping before you pay ;)

No need it unlocked. Plus the store only had 1 left on hand anyways!

Hah hah SWEET! Yah odds are you buy a 550BE you are getting a quad it seems :) Very few people have not had success and half of them were probably on the wrong motherboard :)
