I was trying to figure out what the difference is between the Red Devil and the Red Devil Limited Edition. The only difference I found is the metal keycap ... which costs $70-100 more in my local stores. Actually, only one store still have them here as all others were sold-out.
The LE has a higher boost clock (3060 vs 3010), the little keycap, a support leg, & a sticker. It's also numbered xxx of xxxx. Yeah, not worth the extra money IMO. I'm not going to put it in a display case & admire it, I'm going to use it. lol

I'll be interested to see my card's power limit (3x8pin) because I thought it was supposed to be 330w I won't complain if it can pull 350+w.

All 9070XT in my area are sold out or the price magically went $200 up. No one wants 9070. Nearly every store has many of them available. Probably because of a price that is not much lower than the XT.
I checked both my Microcenters last night and I'm seeing the same. No more 9070XT, but quite a few 9070. Prices didn't seem too bad, several models @ $550, then $620 to $650.

The specs on the PC website say that the clocks are the same. I missed the card holder thingy. It's not listed, but I saw it in one of the reviews.

I think I saw somewhere 360W, but I can be wrong. I see there are some mistakes in specs of various models.
There are maybe 5 models with 3x 8 pins and higher power limits. I saw 2 so far with 12V-2x6 connectors - ASRock Taichi and Sapphire Nitro, but one of the AMD's advantages seem standard 8 pin connectors. All cards are still huge, so who cares how many connectors there are on PCB.

Now I see the two boost clock differences (OC vs Silent). A 'compare' at Microcenter tells a different story. It also says the regular Red Devil has a 3 year warranty & the LE is only 2 year (probably another mistake). I think all PowerColor cards are 3 year.

What is this nonsense about MSRP stock and then a price hike? Pretty scammy to bait and switch only to get good reviews in price/$ comparisons.

Products that were delivered before the Tariffs were implemented vs after. [and greed, don't forget about corporate greed]

i think some of the reasoning behind this is BS, just stores or AIBs wanting more money. I'd think AMD would want to keep it from happening too otherwise they'll end up worse off than how they started this.
I noticed on launch day Newegg had an Asrock 9070 steel legend listed close to $700 but Micro Center had the same card listed at $550.
Just seems very newegg of them to jack that price up and then also bundle it with crap that they cant sell. Sadly i dont have a microcenter near by but still.

Vote with your wallets, dont pay inflated costs no matter if its stores, AIBs or AMD them selves.
I really want a card, but i also have patience, more patience than want.

I'll try and find it again but some one had a new story where amd responded to the "Introductory MSRP Prices" being false.
Also all 3 of those youtubers are just sensationalists...

edit:
found the article, but as with any news, salt on hand is required, and dont forget to think for you self

I haven't seen any 9070XT for less than ~$700+VAT in the EU, and even this price looks pretty good if we consider the performance and Nvidia options. Many models were only for ~$900+VAT. Everything is expected to go up soon, but at least there are options in stores right now.
I only see that the 9070 doesn't sell. The main reason can be the ~$70-100 lower price than the 9070XT. Again, this is in the EU stores.

Looking at one UK seller, they have models of the 9070 (not-XT) currently in stock starting £630. XT MSRP was £570. Not great. No stock of the XT.

Same seller has in stock:
A single model of 5070 at £710 (base MSRP+32%)
A single model of 5070 Ti at £910 (base MSRP+25%)

Caseking has only XT models for ~1100-1200 EUR, so it's average +/- 1250 USD. Everything that is listed much cheaper, wasn't even available. I guess guys in the US shouldn't complain at the prices ;)

The only place you will find these cards in the US is Ebay. They begin at $1000, usually a auction listing. MC is odd in that they leave all the cards showing on their main page, but only when you select a store do you find they have no stock.

I know that more cards were available in the last two days in the US, and depending on MC, there were many available in stores (some guys, not from OCF, told me they got Powercolor 9070XT from MC). I can't say anything in detail. Some guys on the OCF got 9070XT too, and not for $1k. I assume it still depends on the area and stores.

Normal.... you need to select your store in order to show the stock available at that specific store....also, once you select your store, it should come up to that store already the next time...unless you have some privacy settings changed or something.

That said, looking around me (the 3 in Ohio), they all have 9070s/XTs at varying prices. Def. less XTs, but they are there in some places. I said you could wake up friday and still get these... but it's saturday and the window is closing on reasonably priced models, especially XT.

This.

Tustin is their biggest store and they get the most. Columbus, I think is top 5 and I know we had hundreds if not well over 1,000.

I guess my point earlier was that MC in the US is the only place where you can physically purchase these video cards. MC has only 28 stores in the US which effectively puts them out of reach to the vast majority of customers. Case in point, there is only one MC located in Florida which is located in Miami...a mere 700 miles from me lol. I still stand by my decision to purchase that 7900 XT for $650 earlier and would do so again if possible today. I'm more inclined to keep an eye out for a 7900 XTX at a reasonable price than any of these latest offerings from AMD. In general just sick of the entire experience and don't expect any improvements in the situation.

If you're in the US & looking for a 9070(XT) you might wanna look at newegg today at 10:00am pdt (1:00 edt). ;)

Just out of curiosity, where does one get information on Newegg stock availability and release times? They don't even list a notification link on their site for these products.

I purchased one from them on launch day but they cancelled it 15 minutes later. They sent me an email about today's restock.
