It's good to hear they fixed it. Just after release, some people who made more detailed tests reported that the latency was worse than on the 7000 series. Some synthetic RAM/cache results were also weirdly bad.

The real testing is yet to come. What is the impact of this change on varied workloads? The latency result was debated if it was a real problem or a side effect of the way it is measured. A marginal increase in Cinebench isn't terribly exciting.

I’m pretty sure the issue was much ado about nothing but we’ll see. Even the marginal Cinebench improvement is unlikely due to the decreased latency, there are other optimizations in the new agesa as well which probably has a much bigger impact.
