Earthdog you said you are playing COD? what FPS are you getting atm with 7900XTX ?
Personally with the new Blackops 6 i found all the upscaling etc to not work .. normal mode I'm seeing like 285-375 fps with my rig below @ 1440P high settings (doesn't change Much).
None of the Upscaling works as i said if anything its worse.
in MW3 (2023-2024) it was far better with FSR3-and Fluid motion frames i was seeing closer to 500+ FPS and good detail with what seemed like no input delay.

One of my best friends runs a 7900XTX with a 5700X3D and he's getting around same or just above me in fps atm so I'm just wondering.

Sorry, I don't have a 7900XTX... was wondering what that was like with the FSR/DLSS and if that would change anything (I doubt it).

I'll get on BO6 on the 14th when Warzone drops. :)

OK anyways FSR 1-3.*/DLSS +/- ETC Isn't really working atm, Off/Normal seems to be fine.

"Ryzen 7 9800X3D Review - Stunning Performance - The Best Gaming CPU Money Can Buy"

"Apologies for the lateness on this one - the PS5 Pro workload has been challenging - but we couldn't ignore the arrival of what looks like an all-time CPU great. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D significantly outperforms the Ryzen 7 7800X3D - which remained the best gaming CPU despite the arrival of new Intel and AMD processors. This thing's a beast - a genuine halo product."

The latest premieres are pure magic. Everything is so amazing, but you can't find it in stores ;)
9800X3D beats everything ... "the best performance/price" (maybe MSRP, which is still higher than expected) ... good luck finding it in any store
285K will be the new best thing (said Intel) ... can't buy it, but hey, it supports CUDIMM, which is a game changer ... well, it's not ... and you can't buy it either
I can't wait for RTX5000 and new AMD cards :ROFLMAO:

I watched that review. Reminded me why I unfollowed them. Yes, 9800X3D is the fastest gaming CPU so far, but no need to go hyperbolic. Things that are bit better get hyped up. Things that are a bit worse are consigned to the bin. For what are often not that big a difference.

I will say one other thing. I do like TechPowerUp testing, but they showed the smallest (1080p) gain of big name reviewers. What's different about their testing compared to others? Game choice? Settings? Something else? I thought I saw somewhere someone did a summary of reviews (which site/channel saw what uplift) but I can't find it again right now.
