AMD XP on 8KTA+ (no v1.2) KT133

i put an XP2400+ on it and it runs very unstable
crashes often ...

(fsb 100 made it run at 1500Mhz)

is there a modded bios available??
any other suggestions??

Well Bob, it doesn't look as though too many people have gone this route.

Though it is a different motherboard, here is a multipage thread for XP CPU's in the Abit KT7. It does use the same chipset, so hopefully some of the ideas will apply to your application.

i know the thread... i run an thorton XP2200+@3000+ on my KT7 L2 512kb... 9300 3dmarks (no overclocking exept cpu)... i will soon check an radeon9800pro on my board...going for 15000.

The KT133 boards mostly ran Pali chips if they ran an XP at all...I doubt many will run the .13 T-Bred chips....
