A firewall failure at SSL on Saturday caused us to lose connectivity until the problem was fixed this morning.

well that sucks

At least it wasn't my worst fear.

For a moment, just a moment, I thought that some burocratic
bullcrap might have cut off SETI@home alltogether.

I could see that happening....

Hey don't quit. I know your thinking to, I was in teh same position, this thing was really bugging me. But guess what I came back, I learned my lesson, and set the cache to a week. Now when I reformatted I only had half of that I was suppose to have, and I'm stuck using SetiQueue if it works.

Hold tight bro, were getting through this!

The firewall problem may be resolved, but I am still unable to transmit anything.

I'm hanging in there though...

No connection

Im stuck here with a done unit and no where to send it :(.. Oh well these things happen hope it gets sorted quick

Don't forget that the other teams are experiencing the same problems. After the last situation we gained a lot, perseverance pays off!

Stick with it and cache work units when you can, the finished units will eventually be uploaded and you'll get your credit.

Good Luck!

i am starting see units coming and going between my setiqueue and berkeley.

i am sure that they are swamped right now, but they are back up, so hang tight for the logjam to clear.

As you can see in the following paste. The incoming bandwidth is what is to blame for the bottleneck. So as soon as this clears up we should be good to go. Correct? Let's hope so.
