I've been messing around with having my wallpaper be animated instead of static. I'm sure you guys already know how to make your wallpaper an animated gif or webpage or anything you want. I found a doodad that lets the visualizations for WinAmp to be your fullscreen .

Download the advanced visualization studio from Winamp.com. When you load it up one of the settings is like "set display to background color" or something. You get to have a full motion wallpaper!

*smacks self in head. OMG Where's my Mountain Dew ? I really shouldn't try to do things until after 12:00 and after I’ve had my Dew...and they say caffeine doesn’t have any side effects. HA

This is a cool trick....and My time wasn't wasted on the winamp site. I just downloaded like 10 other plug-ins that I want to try playing with. One is really tricked out...it makes your winamp browser translucent...you an select how clear you want it to be..realy cool plug-in...just don’t' set it to zero like I did...took me ten minutes to find the darn thing when it was totally clear. LOL Oh well...live and learn.

Try milkdrop for a good winamp visualization program. Runs faster and looks better IMHO. It doesnt have all the choices, it just cycles through the different presets, but they all look nice.

I have an ATI tv wonder VE that has a rather interesting feature added to the tv software. When I minimize the tv window, instead of not being able to see it, the television screen becomes my wallpaper. It's a wonderful feature that I use pretty much every day. The tv wonder software also has a file player, so I bet it's possible to have your background be a video file looping itself.

Ahhhh.... Milkdrop....

Gotta download that again... I lost it in my hard drive format, and have yet to download it again. Main reason I like Milkdrop is because it will pump out an amazing 12 fps on my poor excuse for a video card (i810 chipset graphics  ). That, and the desktop vis.

I really need to download it again...
