well guys,

my nf7-s v2 was nearly fully volt moded. i had the vtt/vbt mod left to do, i did it today per this link - http://www.malvescorner.net/images/nf7vbt.jpg

i put doubled sided tape around the soldered section on the back of the mobo(mobo is on top of mobo box) so the wires wouldn't break off or come loose.

put my board back together, start it up and no video. i have read lots of thread that when you v-mod incorrectly, your board wont start. my board does but i get no video. i tried my buddies 6600 card(agp), tried reseating my fx5900(agp), then lastly i tried a pci video card --- NO VIDEO.

i cleared the cmos too and still no video.

your suggestions are greatly appreciated, i'm optimistically hoping that i'm forgetting something or have overlooked something ... HELP

here's what i have so far,

i measured the following
vdimm - 3.1
vtt - 1.53

i adjust the pot for the vtt and measured again, there was no difference, i'm assuming that i didn't cut the trace on the back of the mobo properly?

i'm going to redo the trace but cutting it again. then i'm going to adjust the pots and see if this works.

since it seems that i didn't cut the vtt trace properly, it seems that it was still sending 1.53v on the vtt/vbt. should i still have gotten video?

thanks for looking and your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

monitors cool :)

i have another "previously owned" nf7-s v2 now. with a successful "vtt mod" i might add(thanks to fsbxtreme) :)
