Didn't want to thread jack someone elses thread with this, but I've got a challange for the mechanical keyboard enthusiasts.
I started with a Das Keyboard with MX browns, then switched to a Rosewill Apollo (which was a mistake) with MX blues because I wanted a keyboard with backlighting. So far I'm liking the tactile bump of the blues/browns but they both seem a bit weak and I find myself bottoming them out too much when I'm not concentrating.
So I finally grabbed one of those multi MX key testers, and after playing around with it for a while I probably like the clears the most, with the greens a second.
The only problem being once you get away from the common blue/brown/red/black MX keys, keyboard selection drops off a lot.
Any ideas? Backlighting is pretty much a must, built in USB hub and keypad are pluses but I can always add a seperate keypad and USB hub to my desk if needed. Don't need any other extras like mic/headphone inputs, macro keys, or anything like.
