I assume you have unlocked the L1's. These mobos can be a bit tricky so follow what I say and you should do it.
Set the multiplier and your vcore and F10 to save. When you save cut the power using the switch on your case. Power it back up after a second or two and the new settings should be active. If not cut the power again.
You say that your mobo is Pro 2a. I am sure that you can also use it at 133. Check your manual. There should be a jumper J17 which is closed for 100 and open for 133. If you have this you can also use 133 but you will have to unlock all the L7 bridges as well to post at 1.85V ..

For me ..i dont have any setting problem from the bios... i'm oc my processor up to 1 G ... my tem only 33c-37c <-- this is more higher than my default tem. only 3-4 c... beside i havnt got a nice HSF ... Good luck

Duron 800 @ 1000 Mhz ( 100x10 ) 1.83v

I do have the same problem periodically when changing settings. Have to keep cutting the power until it posts at the correct speed. Sorry haven't found a solution yet. The only thing that I have noticed is that in these situations is that if you let all everything stop i.e. the fans have stopped spinning etc ( about 20seconds) and then power it up it works but not always.
