I am running Windows XP Pro, with 512mb of ram, I have a 60 gig hard drive. Which would should give better performance, using the "windows managed page file", or not using a page file?

the swap file is just an extension to the system RAM, and slower. the problem is that several (not only a few actually) programs require it to run properly, like Photoshop that someone mentions in the other thread.
so disabling it might not be a good thing to do.
