Antec 480w True Power PSU Question

I recently think I friend my new Abit KR7A-RAID mobo upon install. Now a friend told me that my PSU might have overloaded it. He said this after I told him it is a new Antec True Power 480watt PSU. I'm running an Athlon XP2000+ in that KR7A-RAID board. Anyone know if this is true? Is 480w PSU too much for the Abit KR7A-RAID board??

no, no matter what psu you put on there it is still gonna runn 12 volts on the 12 volt line and 3.3 on the 3.3 line.....
