5450 has wireless rear channels
is that ALL? everything else identical? wireless speakers must KILL batteries, no? or do you still plug em into power, but just audio goes wireless...?

NONE of the speakers or ANY Logitech products that come from JustDeals.com are NOT covered by Logitech waranty!

I wanted to buy Z-5500 but previously I called Logitech to find out if I could RMA a bit faulty mouse that I've got from JustDeals, Logitech support told me that they will not cover anything bought from them and same goes for Overstock.com. As far as I can remember, they just don't cover it unless it was bought brand new.

Just thought I'd note that :)

BTW, those Z-5500 are GREAT speakers!

Unless English is not his native toungue, in which case double negative = negative.

z-5500s are awesome and make a half decent Hometheatre setup also.

i'm gonna probably hook them up to my HDTV tonight... just haven't had the chance. can't wait to try out the HDMI digital coming out of my DVD player to my TV... then gonna hook digital out from TV to the z-5500s...

I didn't check yet, but are there wallmounts sold that work with the 5500's speakers?? i haven't even looked at them. i'm at work and now i'm curious, lol.

Eh... I don't think so... Unless you consider a pair of drywall screws to be "wall mounts". The standoffs have two holes for screws or bolts or something.

I'm still trying to figure out how to mount my speakers behind my projection screen. :D

That is why when you call in you dont tell them where you bought it, I have had them RMA 2 MX1000's for me, and they never balked about it. (bad batteries :()

well if the mount isn't bad, i may actually screw into the wall. i got a laser beam finder, so i'll make sure it works out nicely IF i do it... i really wanna, though. :D
