Is the ASUS A7A266 any good to overclock... I heard there was issues with its overclockability, and its stabilty... any opinions? I will be doing it with a 1.33Gig TB

look for the 10 position dip switch .it shows it on the front of the box but it may not be on the board.it may only have 4 positions which only helps with fsb.6thru10 control multipliers.I have seen the board with sound or 10pos switch, not both but there should be some out there by now.I have one with just sound.my system works great with 1002b-bios but I have no multiplier adjustments.I hear bios updates help with that.I have 30 gig maxtor hd 1-256ddr&1-128ddr offbrand ram , radeon32megddr video , with no conflicts. Good board

I wouldn't go for the a7a266 as this is based on the ali chipset which though better than when it came out is still the bottom player in ddr.

I would wait for the a7v266 based on the via kt266 chipset, this has scored very well in reviews of other boards with it and the previews of this asus board have said it looks to be a great choice.
