I just got this mobo - apparently DOA, but before I RMA it - does anyone have any ideas on things to check out that I may not have thought of? It doesn't do a thing when I turn it on - no beeps - nothing. Just turns off immediately. The only card I have in it is video - Nvidia Geforce 2 GTS 32mb. If you have any ideas, please post. Thanx.

Tbird 900 water cooled
256mb Crucial 222 ram
128 Corsair 222 ram
Dual IBM 30gb 7200 RPM HDD RAID 0
Eheim 1046 inline pump
Be Cooling radiator and block

If you do not have the fan plugged in it beeps, been there, done that.
See if you can find a friend or a friendly computer store that will let you test your processor in their motherboard. With no beeps the probiblity that you have a DOA processor is high, but it could be mobo or memory.

Mine didn't beep or anything (turned itself off within a second), I connected my Enermax powersupply fan header (just tach) to fan header #1, but apparently that wasn't enough (less than 2000rpm)...

Then I connected a old CPU cooler fan (5000+ rpm) and the board booted fine, I updated the BIOS (v.ZT) and disconneted the fan again....the newer BIOS don't require a FAN in header #1 to work

All I'm changing is the mobo. The proc is fine in the old mobo. Same with the memory. Same with everything. All I changed is the mobo.
