I am about to install an Iwill KA266 in my system ( its in the mail ) and I was just wondering what kind of luck people had with using them. Are there any particular issues with this board, or is it a no-brainer to work with? Thanks guys.... :)

In general, I have heard 2 things about ALi Magik1 based mobos -

1. MBM doesn't work (see front page, apparently our very own Skip has been working with Alex Van Kaam to remedy this problem in a new beta version).

2. Performance lags behind AMD 760, Via KT266 and even some KT133A boards. Not good if you ask me. I wouldn't buy one, just one dude's opinion though. (granted, this comes from a guy running a KT133A board)

Well I was going to tell you how much I liked mine and then re-read your heading and realised that it read KA266 so I have no impression as I have a KK266,
these old eye's ain't what they used to be.

I like the board very much.
My system:
Unlocked T-Bird 1.2 GHz @ 1.46 GHz (11x133)
256 MB PC2400 DDR ram (cas 2 2100)
Geforce 2 GTS
IBM XGP75 45 GB hard drive
TDK VeloCD burner
SB Live value

I get results in Sisoft Sandra, which blow away P4 1.5 GHz scores, except for the rdram memory score, my system is stable and the board was easy to set up and tweak in the bios.
