Any Netware 4.11 guru's in house, or even better, CNE's?

Just curious if there is anyone in the forum with extensive or relatively extensive knowledge of Netware 4.11.

Having a problem with our server at work today, and its driving me nuts. Its hanging on one of the NLM's, I'm pretty sure I've narrowed it down to the DHCP module.

I want to remove the loading of it from the autoexec.ncf file, but I cannot modify that file because the server is still using it.

The server is hanging during startup, and telling also that one of the NLM's is keeping low priority threads from functioning correctly.

So, in addition to removing the loading of the DHCP server, I also added the "SET Upgrade Low Priority Threads = On" to the autoexec file. But again, since the server is hagning, I can't modify that file from a workstation.

And since the server is hung up, I can't do anything in the console.

Everything still works, the file server is up, but after abotu 2 hours the server will crash again.

The autoexec.ncf file is stored on our SYS volume, so I can't access it without mounting the SYS volume, which means I must be in nwserver...which as I've said before, hangs during startup :)

So, I'm totally feeling like I'm in this Catch-22 position right now. :eh?:

My hope is that by modifying the autoexec file I can atleast get back into the console and unload any offending NLM's. I CAN get into the console monitor to cahnge things, but it cannot update the file either.

Any suggestions?
Mike
