Any one know of a free dvd burning software. so I can take a digital copy of a video and burn it to dvd to watch on tv

i absolutly love imgburn... its the greatest lil program for dvd/cd backing up, coppying, burning.

If you want a truly free program (free as in speech not as in beer). Try K3b if you are using a unix-like operating system

i use CD burner XP, it burns DVD's too

will ingburn burn movie files to play on dvd (MPEG)because thats what I want it for not just to back up files

nope ingburn won't work it doesnt support mpeg files

i use starburn for all my burning needs. burns just about anything and it's 100% free.


on a side note, your gonna want to format the digital copy [legal one i hope] as a dvd. try dvd flick to create the dvd folder, then use a burning software such as starburn or imgburn to burn the contents of the video ts folder to dvd.
