Any software to test throughput of my network?

Is there a program I can run on 2 computers that test the speed between them?

um just transfer a file and use Task manager or administrative tools to look how fast a huge file can be transfered. I think sisoft have a pay version that test too.

Thanks a million, that was exactly what I was looking for.

Btw for the windows file sharing transfer suggestion, that never hits peak network speed, it's always much slower. I've only been able to hit max speed using windows sharing using a linux samba server.
