Been running it for 2 weeks now and I really can't see any difference from the original, what was that ..1004 I think!?!!?!
Seems stable to me.
Maybe this weekend I will go back to the original and see.

Did you know that there is a version 1007 out don't know what it fixes. I was getting some kernal errors running prime95 so i tried this flash and have had no more problems,{ I also got pissed and kicked my box too so who knows} MORE IS NEVER ENOUGH

I'd like to try the 1007, without the kick..hehe.
Do you remember where you got it from?
Last I looked, Asus site didn't have anything past the 1005a.

Thanks.

I think he is confusing it for an a7v mbo.they have a bios of 1007 but the a7v133 only has a 1005a

I was wondering if that reference was to the A7V.
I was running the 1005a and recently found a beta version # 1006.01g
I'll get the link later and post it here.

1005a was OK but I really didn't see any difference from the factory shipped.

1006 beta has a few new things but again I have found no real difference.

Too bad they aren't more forthcomming about the whys and whats of these updates.
