If so, what kind of performance are you getting? How does it do in games like Max Payne? I am looking to upgrade from my ATI Radeon 32 mb ddr card and was wondering how the new Geforce MX line stacks up. I cant afford too much on a card right now and was just curious.

Hey!

I wouldn't go with the MX version.........I've heard it's done an overlcocked version of the GF2........And it doesn't have really any new features.........Your best bet would to buy the GF3Ti200 or 500.........And maybe save up your money and get the GF4TI4400.........

the Geforce4MX is about 2-3% faster than a Geforce 2 Pro/Ti....iut would not be much of an upgrade....if you want to upgrade save up a little longer and get a Radeon 8500(140$) or a Geforce4 Ti4200(200$)

Think economics:

Radeon 32mb $70
GeForce 440 $100

Your old card isn't bad enough to upgrade (yet) unless you're rolling in money. It'll cost $100 to upgrade $30 worth of performance (if that much).

Ran a benchmark on the Aopen version, it scored in the neighborhood of 4000 and a bit, on 3Dmark2k1. Not overly impressive. I'd keep your Radeon, or save and get a GF3 ti-200.
