I'm thinking of getting one, but when I looked at Dansdata I was shocked to see it say "Worst points: No CPU multiplier adjustment" Does this mean that the board is bad for overclockers? I'm going to overclock my 1.2 T-bird, but is this mobo still going to support overclocking? Right now Im trying to decide between the ASUS A7A266 and the Abit KG7-RAID.

Anybody have either of these boards that recommend one or the other? I asked part of this question today, but didn't get quite as clear of an anwser as I was hoping. Please help.

Thanks.

I'm running the Asus A7A266 on my 1.2GHz Athlon AXIA @ 1.466GHz no problem. A new revision of the A7A266 was released with DIP switches on the mobo that allows multiplyer changing up to 12.5 in .5 increments. I have it set at 133x11. I tried going 133x11.5 but got an "Invalid system disk, replace and press any key" after I booted with it but I didnt have a disk of any kind in the floppy. The A7A266 is one stable DDR mobo and I'm liking it very much.

If you need anything else, just ask

There is a board made by EPoX based on the AMD 761 chipset that has proved to have better memory bandwidth than any other DDR board and also more overclockable.

This is the 8K7A+ - better value and better board than the ASUS. I've been studying EPoX a great deal - they really are coming up with the goods lately.

This board does have multiplier adjustments too - great stuff!!
