Anyone else having problems with USB and IWill KK266?

I can't seem to get my usb ports to be working on my kk266.
Everytime I try to print something out it will stop mid-printing. If I plug in my optical mouse it stops working intermittantly and then stops completely.

I've installed the usb filter but I can't install the Microsoft VIA patch, it says that the program isn't designed for my system even though I do have Windows 98SE. Really weird.

I'm even considering just using the parallel port for the printer but I was really considering getting some other USB devices.

Did you go into the bios and make sure the USB is set up properly? I had a similar problem, but after check bios I found the culprit.
