I realize that someone out there who gets all these new cases has a new one. I am wondering if someone would be willing to please give me one, I have the dinkiest, most pitoful 250W non-name brand POS of a case and want to have something with some more room than this tiny mid-tower. Someone with an old ATX 250-300W Case and PSU who is willing to help me out please let me know and I will give you contact info. I am really out of money, this computer was a gift from a friend and I haven't got the money to get a new case so that I can overclock it anymore. I need something large, but not gargantuan, something that someone maybe goofed up on, I don't care how ugly it is, I want it.

In short I want your junk case's its for my Athlon 700 Classic if that gives you any idea what I'm asking. the mobo is a K7M, I have only got one HD, one optical, and a pitiful amount of pc133 ram ( 256 ) please help to have at least a decent case....  :eh?:

Sorry all I have spare is an E-machines ATX-flex without a PSU. You are welcome to it, but it is worse than what you have and would not work with your motherboard.

You might be a canidate for making your own case from scrap wood and duct tape. ;)

I have a spare case, but it is awful for temperatures (the PSU is in the way of the CPU fan...)... I dont think it would be suitable for even keeping cool a 700... or even stop it from overheating... plus it is really small and cramped... Thats why I got a new midi case (big enough, masses of space for me!)

Sorry I couldnt be much help...

Hey thanks anyways guys, I have thought of making my own, but the only way to do it properly would be to get the right tools, which I dont have. I am looking for something bigger than most mid-tower cases, mines supposedly a mid-tower, but its much more a mini - tower than anyhthing else. If, and when you come across an older ATX full tower case or something of proper case size for a 700. If possible could you guys get me some pics of those cases you speak of. I would like to see them in comparison to other cases. In the one I have now, the PSU has to be put outside the case otherwise the CPU fan wont get any air from the side fan. Any help is already and will be greatly appreciated!

I know you are a new member but usually it is customary not to ask for parts. Most people are busy working on their own. Recently I had a new for a processor that was in use 10 years ago and I posted the situation in gripes and moans. Somebody said they might have one. But do not ask for parts that you can easily go and buy.

With no intent to start some flames, I can not easily go and buy anything, without going into details, I am short of money in a big way, and have already tried asking all my friends from around here for favors, was just going to ask my friends on the board and see if any were feeling " charitable ". Had I been demanding them to give me stuff I would find your statement more than fitting, but please, if they are too busy with their own, then they are not looking at my post. This was pointed towards those that had older to ancient cases that needed a good home. I'm sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused you or anyone else.:eh?:

Nah, I didnt get a dime from the Olympics, supposedly helped the economy though. And don't worry about it, I knew that when I asked a question like that I was kinda strattling the fence on etiquette, but I'm desperate for a new case and I figured you guys might have some extras lying around, at least those who get to review all the new cases...

Maybe I should see if they let me review one....:p

how big is your present case?? i see a lot of cases go in and out of here so i will keep an eye out for you:) just give me some details ok.

Its about 16" x 16" x 8", on the outside, the PSu sits on top of the CPU in relation to the left side. It is horribly udnerpriveledged when it comes to free space. It is only staying as cool as it is, because of the huge 8" 120 V Fan I have in the side, probbly about 85 CFM, maybe more. Anything bigger than that is just fine!
