I don't have the Philips card, but I do have the Hercules Game Theatre, and it's basically the same card with a few minor changes. I love it, works great and has a way better sound than my old Live! card.

I got a philips rythmic edge cause I was also short on cash. It performs pretty well with its "t-bird" audio chipset..heh I like it. Has good sound quality, no laggy crap in games like my ISA Aztech, and songs sound crisper. I thinks its worth the money cause I got mine a circuit city 29.99 and they had 20mir so 10bux!
