I have the radeon 7000 64 mb ddr agp video card. It has a small heat sink and no fan. Do they all come like this or do some of these cards come with a fan.
The heat sink sucks on this card, it is so small, it's the same size as the gpu. Can't even put a fan on it.

And its not a VE?

All LE's (like mine) come without a fan. I just took a fan from an old Pentium and it fits fine, so maybe try looking around for one of those.

Or you can always pop of the heatsink and go buy a Blorb or Corb if your worried at all about heat.

Good luck.

It's not a VE. It's a new radeon 7000 that just came out. The VE has a larger heat sink, the 7000 agp has a small heat sink, about 1" x 1" square. Never saw such a small heat sink on a video card.

if it has dual-monitor support then it is a VE and the small heatsink is all that is needed as the Ve has no hardware T&L.....how is its performance?

Performance is not bad, graphics are good, heat sink and memory get pretty warm. I have a fan on the top memory chips with no heat sink, blowing air down on them.
Whats T&L?
