I just ask because I saw an article comparing Artic Silver to Radio Shack thermal grease. Under load the Atric Silver was about 3C lower than the Radio Shack stuff, but at Idle the Silver was actually 1.5C hotter than the RC grease.
Does this mean that Artic Silver isn't as good at lower temps (as would be the case with a peltier)? I've also heard that AS also has a problem with clamping pressure, but I've only heard that from one person.
