It "apparently" is supposed to be 3C cooler @ idle and 3C cooler @ full load than either the FOP38 or the Alpha Pal 6035.
Anyone ever heard of them or tried them?

HEDGEHOG? 238?

does this have anything to do with a hairy porn star and how much he weighs?

Don't think so but you never can tell, apparently there made in the USA I saw them on a German site.

i had one on my 1ghz tbird at 1246 and it did a very good job 40-42 full load the fan is kinda noisey also a good lapp job is required

here is where i bought mine the people that run this site are very good people

Kat you "had one did you find a better air cooled fan or did you go water?

the hog is on my brother`s pc (1ghz 266 @1100 47C ) i think that his temps are high because he has his box in a closed area in his computer desk

i switched to a swiftech 462 which ran my 1 ghz tbird at 35-37c and my 1.2 tbird at 41-43 c dam fine fan ;D

Closed area certainly won't help the temps...
hmmm from the 47c i'm not convinced by there claim maybe I should stick with the known brand...
just out of curiousity Kat did you ever try sucking through the heat sink with the hedgehog?

kat (Apr 15, 2001 08:34 p.m.):
the delta on the hedgehog is designed to pull air through the fin`s that is why it comes with a shroud ;D

Thanks for your input kat I am still in 2 minds whether I should go with the (Alpha6035 or pep) or the hedgehog the hog is far cheaper especially when your talking $1A = 48centsUS
