Anyone still play D2 on USwest HC ladder?

Just wondering if anyone plays on USWEST realm on open bnet hardcore ladder.
I was looking for items, hopefully free . Or just people to play with and stuff.

Ah, I did before, but I quit Diablo 2 a while ago...I finally got bored with it (1.10 didn't even bring it back to life for me) and let all my characters expire...sorry.

Ya i used to play on USEast, but its so full of people, USWest i find has less lag, less ongoing games. I just find it better. And well my friend went there, and has a few internet friends playing USwest , so i figured what the heck ill play USwest.

What about tal rasha's tomb. act 2 is the best act. Man you know which tomb it is after you kill the summoner....just go thru the tomb go to the orfice and put the staff there which blows open the wall then walk thru the wall and kill dury!

I'm a level 23 necromancer.

I got to the point of fighting Duriel (4 times) and died every time.

I got really ****ed at the game and quit.

Wouldn't ya know it, but Tal Raasha's tomb symbol changes every time you start. So I have to go through the entire dungeony thing and clear out all the demons or get lucky and take the right way to get to Duriel.

Problem is doing that! I come with in 10 HP of dying MANY times. So I end up wasting TONS of potions. And now from dying soo much against Duriel, I have about 1,500 gold or something really low like that.

If Act 2 is indeed the best act, then the rest of the game must be really pathetic.

Also, the electric beetle things are the source of all evil. I hate them with unparalled anger.

Ya those beetles destroy, its magic damage.
Ya some people, no offence, really suck at that game.
I mean you wouldnt make it in hardcore! lol i have been playing hardcore for a while my level 68 necro like i think i mentioned before just died..but i made a new one and he is back at level 56 and in nm in 8 hours lol

No, you cant anymore, not since 1.10 came out.

Its sort of pointless to RUSH, thats what your referring to.
Now you only get experience for your level at certain places. Like a level 10 if rushed to act 5, will get 1 xp per monster killed...what is that?
But if that level 10 plays act 1 and goes thru catacombs he will level huge, and he will level even better in act 2 sewer runs till level 18 then from there can do arcane runs till level 21, then he would move on to maybe travincial runs in act 3 till level 24 and then you would go to baal and do baal runs till you get up to 55 ish, then you would start the process over in NM.

SO almost the same idea but way harder, especially when your in HC, SC is nothing..no thrill in that anymore, once you get hooked on HC there is nothing to turn you away, and the new patch brough some cool stuff in. Like the syenergies for example.

syenergies? Please explain those. I got out of the game because it was beginning to become very hacked... a little too much for my liking. Everybody was running around with these "white" items.

Damn, I remember back in the day when D2 was the best. No hackers or anything. I really wish they'd come out with a D3 with really nice graphics and a better anti-cheat system

I used to play on Battle.net a lot..but got tired of that, now I play when I am bored on single player. Havn't played much and my sorc is level 51 I think. Pretty good too.

When I played on Bnet I was a sorc, level 86. gull/shard..magefist..all the good stuff..too bad I lost interest and my account is gone now. It was a fun way to end the night after reading about computers.
