I have an Epox 8K7A with a 1.4 @ 1.6 and 512mb PC2400 memory.
Using WinME. When the DirecPC USB driver is installed, my memory bandwidth benchmark in Sandra goes down by 25%, and my CPU benchmark goes down by 15%.
If I go into device manager and 'disable in this hardware profile' the driver, the benchmarks go back up to where they should be.
I did not have this problem with my Abit SH6 and P3 setup.
Any ideas?
