Apple iPod deals

I am interested in buying a 30GB apple iPod ($500),

but as you have just noticed... it is $500...
do you think we will be seeing any deals or price drops come out within the next 3 months?

If not would you be able to suggest alternate mp3 players... that have AT LEAST 30GB of storage w/ more or less the same features?

good luck getting a deal on one. apple products are almost never on sale.

ebay might be your only option but they are selling for about the same price as you can order them from apple so....

i bought a 5gb last night for 180 on ebay. those 15gb pods look to be the best 'value' of all the ipods. good drive size and all the features and accessories of the most expensive one cept capacity.
