Just got my custom applique today from the Shattered Web (http://www.shatteredweb.com) A little advice for anyone who is going to put on an applique - SPRAY YOUR PLEXI WITH H20. Shattered Web's site has directions for applying the appliques, but I thought I was steady handed enough to get it right the 1st time. :) You know where this is going, don't you? The applique (which looked f'ing awesome BEFORE I applied it) is now a bit of a mess. I crinkled a few of the straight lines and sqarfed up on some of the curves. If I had used the h20 it would be perfect. The applique is the same design as my avatar and they did it in a wicked chrome. I'm trying to decide now what to do. I guess the good thing about an applique is that I can take it off an get another,. . .on which I'll use a little H20. :)
I've attached a pic. It's not great, but my little Crystal-Digital mini1300 isn't the best for close-ups.
