I was wondering how well that Arctic Silver II thermal glue holds. I was thinking about using it to glue mini copper blocks to the smaller chips on my gpu, and maybe glue the large gpu block down. I would rather not have the blocks come crashing down on all the cards below in the middle of the night, I don't know why but it just doesn't seam like a good thing.

I also was thinking about using it to hold the motherboard block in place. Is there a way to get it off? When the dual AMDs are available I was going to upgrade to that, and I'd like to bring my water cooling system over to that.

It's epoxy which means permanent. While there have been a few lucky folks that broke the bond because they did not prep the surfaces properly, don't count on getting anything off that you attatched with it without distroying the electronics.
