are there any strobe LED fans for sale anywhere?

my friend is a cop and he wants to get flashing LED fan's for his case so he can make them blink red and blue like a cop car..

anyone know if such fans are for sale anywhere? or some other light to make that effect

I did a Google, found nothing. Your best bet would be to get those LazerLeds or whatever( www.directron.com probably has them) and mod it to sit behind the fan, unless you're able to build a circuit. =\ Sorry.

Yeah there is nothing like that, but a simple curcuit with a few logic gate will do it.

Are you handy with a soldering iron?

yeah.. kinda thought it would havta be a custom job.. and im not really any good with a soldering iron and dont know nufin about logic gates

Wouldn't be hard to do just two (or more LEDs in a cluster), and you shift power from one to the other, every second or so. You can probably find a schematic on the net or have someone make one for you.

Otherwise try to find someone to make one for you.

o.k. bro its simple go to any car audio/import shop you should be able to get a kit from them.i myself work at one and they are available...........
