1. does the bards on the maze3 have to have an order, or it doesn't matter which is the inlet or outlet use?

2.water dyes affect performance

i believe it should go into the barb closest to the side and it comes out from the nearest center barb. thats how it was designed....

I won't argue with that b/c I don't have one... But it makes alot more since to me to have the coldest water flow directly over the core. I.E. inlet over the core.
Anyone else with some imput? I check the dangerden install man., but not a word was said.

No this is backwards. On the Maze 3 the inlet is the one closest to the center and the outlet is closest to the edge.
