Sorry guys I needed to vent my anger and share some knowledge with you guys. today I got my case though if you click on the link below you will see how colorcases.com has screwed me over.

Go the the site.. um... www.resellerratings.com ? I think thats it... post your experience there. Its not alot but it may help some, at least it may help others not have the same problems.
Another thing, you might want to delete this or ask a mod to move this to the gripes and moans or resellers sections.... Better there than here...

that blows *** man if i were you i would email the company with a link to your website saying how you are broadcasting it all over the net, it looks like spray painted it to make it look nice, tell ya the truth sell it on ebay man some sucker will buy it so you dont get screwed

Yes thats the solution to getting screwed, just screw someone else right back :rolleyes:
 
they clearly screwed up and you have legal action you can take.... but talkto them first and ask them to correct the error and send you what you purchased and return their crap.

if they do not comply then take it up a notch - report them and contact lawyer or cops or whoever you need to.

when I first saw their site I was like "damn, they got some nice stuff, good prices too" but i heard some bad info about them from somebody else....glad i didn't order anything from 'em

I wouldn't recommend sending them a link to your page. I would send them an email giving them a date that everything must be rectified by. Let them know that if everything is not completely taken care of by that date you will take it upon yourself to email a complete history of your problems to places such as [h], toms, anandtech, pricewatch, basically any tech site that people look to for stylish cases/cutting edge hardware.

I think basically the BBB is an impotent organization...they don't really have the power to make businesses care whether or not they screw people over. And I also don't think cops'll really care that much unless you can get a large group of people with similar problems to complain at the same time.

so your best bet is to make 'em know you're going to hurt them in the pocketbook. You might also have some luck if you can find a friend/relative with legal experience to help you write a letter that sounds ominously official... something to make them stand up and take notice that supplying the right case will be cheaper in the long run than trying to deal with very vocal unsatisfied customer.

Thanks guys for hearing me out.

I have e-mailed them I await a reply when I do I will tell you all what that is. If they do not comply I will do everything I can to get this out.

I am not sure what to think of them at this time. It seems like they sent me the crap version so if I didn't say anything it was ok and most wouldn't but if someone did they would quickly take care of it.

Looks like you paid via money order. NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!!! If you do not have a credit card get someone with a card to oreder it for you... pay them cash asap. For a while I wass doing taht with my sister. CCs provide protection over MOs. If you are young and your parents dont trust you have a good talk with them. I have seen many youngsters here not get what they want simply cause parents dont trust the web.

dont get screwed again please... it makes me upset.
 
I am glad that you posted this my brother was giving consideration of ordering a case from there but know that i showed him your post he wont you should see if the will pay you back for the shipping i mean its the least they could do for the trouble they caused you. Any way thank you for the heads up.

no problem at all, I just felt so anger not only for myself but for the others out there who were being ripped off and didn't know it. The guy (Adam) will be sending out my case tomorrow with my power supply he even offered to update it but this was after I had to play hardcore A-Hole just to get what I deserve.

I guess I got pushed over so much I just got sick of it. I think the pictures speak for themselves though ehh? I am sending the case back tomorrow they are paying for shipping I wouldn't anyhow. I will post my results and stuff later thanks solid.

hope your brother finds a place to buy a sweet overclocker case at.

hey sam that's funny because I have done two of the three things you have suggested I emailed david giving him a link to my page I also rated them on resellerratings.com BBB I will go on that too.

already someone sad that they were thinking of getting a case there but they saw what happen to me. well its a start. If you look these guys up on resellerratings.com they are known for being shady I guess.

My question is why did they send a knock off then say oh sorry about the mix up. there was no mix up they sent minion and who knows what else knock offs to people just hoping they wouldn't notice.

I have worked it out with them so far. I think it was a mistake on their part but nothing of evilness.

As the owner told me that Sungmin had stopped production of the actually minion so they bought the molds from them and had the case produced in china (heheh not such a good place for production) they also had changes to the case. So they dug up an original Minion case (one of the last) so I think I may have been to hasty.

They sent me one of their new ones on accident so all in all I am not too mad but they should change the picture on their website as it is a picture of the sungmin minion
