We usually focus on ATX format motherboards, but many users love small form factor computers and ITX motherboards. For those users, we have the ASRock Z890I NOVA motherboard, which promises excellent performance and high-end features in a tiny space. The Z890I NOVA supports all the latest technologies, including the Intel Core Ultra processors and the fastest DDR5 CUDIMM memory, but it's not everything. You have to read our review to find out what else it offers.

Oddly enough, you could get just about any premium Intel board while AM5 boards were selling like crazy.

New AMD motherboards are not selling well, too. They are still selling better than Intel, but many users keep the 600 series because there have been barely any improvements. If someone buys a new PC or upgrades from an old CPU, getting the 800 series AMD or the new Intel is better because of new features and longer support. ASRock has excellent options for both new CPU series, and I haven't seen any problems with availability.

Even though there are mixed comments about the new Intel processors, I find them much better than the last generation. I mean mainly efficiency, temperatures, single-core performance, and improvements in new motherboards.
The tested Z890I NOVA is probably the best ITX motherboard for Arrow Lake processors. There are only a few ITX options on the market, but the NOVA is highly recommended if anyone wishes to build SSF with the new Intel CPU.
