AsRock has been great choice since Abit left. I switched to them after the first gen i7. Never gone back or regretted my choice. I keep hoping to see a X870/X870E in a MATX format. Woomack, think you can find out?

There should be mATX/ITX options with lower chipsets, as right now, there are only X870/E, and the highest option uses two dies that would be hard to install on a small PCB. However, I don't have the list of upcoming motherboards. They should be listed in 1-2 weeks (probably announced at CES).
I'm in touch with ASRock, and they were happy about the last reviews, so I guess we will see something from them in the upcoming weeks.

I just wish they would do better with their inventory. I was not able to get any ASRock board during the Black Friday "sales".

Maybe they just sell so well. ASRock prices in this generation are significantly lower (AMD X870/E and Intel Z890 mobos) than those of other brands with similar specs. A week after release, I saw them in every large store in the EU. My local store had almost the whole line available, and they usually skip top models because they don't sell well. I can't tell for the US, but it highly depends on the distributors in each area.

sounds like the die/chip it self is that large it will not fit on a smaller FF board. It would still be a big seller on smaller boards if it would fit. I just looked seeing they have more 8x0's coming out. At first just looking at newegg i thought it was either B6x0 or just x870, lol.
