The gear is in my sig, only difference is I'm running 2x8 GB of RAM as one of the sticks is bad, slots 2&4.

Internal transfer between two 850 EVO drives, ie, a video, my transfer speed is between 20 & 60 mb/sec, USB 3.0 speeds are around 20 MB/sec.

Any thoughts on what to check?

That sounds about right. After the initial burst speed, the transfer rates reflect file sizes as well a buffer size. Drive capacity vs. fill can be a factor as well.

60 MB/S? For internal SATA SSD drives? Thats 5 times slower than USB 3.0.

For some reason, and I could be wrong, but I want to say these transfer speeds were far faster than that.

Ok, my mistake...The drive I chose to receive the files was a magnetic black drive...:chair: I selected the wrong drive and swore they were both the SSD drives.

Sorry for the confusion.
